“Hudour” Contactless Attendance Recording System
Fingerprint biometric attendance systems have been suspended in many countries as impacts of coronavirus considered. With the widespread of coronavirus among so many countries, businesses are being told to suspend contact-based biometric time and attendance systems to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
There are several ways in which an enterprise can implement a contactless attendance recording system. Here, we describe the easiest and the most cost-effective solution using QR reading technology.
Here’s how the solution works:
- The employee logs into the “attendance recording” mobile app using their mobile credentials which could be passcode, fingerprint, and facial recognition
- Employee selects CHECK IN or CHECK OUT
- A QR Code is generated on the selection which embeds the Employee ID.
- The employee scans the QR code on the QR reader installed on a tablet near the main entrance.
- Once the code is scanned successfully, the QR reader adds a new record into the attendance backend along with the timestamp.
- A Log is created and maintained in the tablet.
- The employee can see a historical log of attendance while HR can use the Dashboard for analysis and payroll.
Coronavirus Fever Detection through Thermal Camera
A Thermal Camera installed at an entrance of an enterprise, university, or public places like Airport or mosque is an innovative way to detect any person, employee, or student with an elevated temperature that could potentially be a symptom of Coronavirus. The FLIR A320 Temp screen Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera could be deployed for this purpose. This is a vital tool in the detection of elevated body temperatures and fevers in high-risk groups such as travelers, students, miners, factory and office workers
Here’s how the solution works:
- Individuals are remotely monitored as they pass a screening checkpoint set up at an airport, border, or in the entrance lobby to a corporation or school.
- Infrared camera operator looks at a color monitor that shows audible and/or visible color alarm when an individual shows an “out of norm” body temperature.
- Persons with an elevated body temperature are sent to a separate line for further screening by a healthcare professional or designate.
The FLIR A320 provides a visual map of skin temperatures in real-time, and due to its extremely high sensitivity, it can display temperature differences as small as 0.07 degrees Celsius. The built-in functions of the A320 Temp screen thermal infrared cameras include color images and temperature scales, and sound alarms that can be set to go off when a certain temperature threshold is exceeded. These functions make it easy for an operator to instantly decide whether the subject needs to be referred for a medical examination. The total evaluation period takes less than a second which makes it ideal for screening large groups of people.
Workforce Health & Safety Incident Reporting
Every business and organization today has a socio-legal and compliance responsibility to protect the environment at its best and ensure the health and safety of its employees. Fulfilling this responsibility is just as important as achieving any other strategic objective or business KPIs.
Oracle Workforce Health and Safety (OWHS) Cloud solution provides organizations with the ability to effectively and simply manage environmental health and safety incidents. The entire process from reporting the incidents and hazards and capturing critical information, to conducting reviews, tracking KPIs, and automating follow-up actions is dramatically simplified for all employees.
Here’s how the solution works:
- Create or update incident records with details and status
o Register the incident with details and immediate actions
o The record required notifications to local, state, and national agencies
o Relate virus exposure incidents to each other
o Assign remediation and mitigation actions for any unsafe conditions at company facilities
- Ensure high-risk incidents have appropriate follow-up activity assigned
o Notify and call employee’s emergency contact
o Instruct facilities manager to find an alternative cleaning crew
o Instruct site coordinator to post instructions in local languages
o Prepare a report of a major safety incident for submission to relevant agencies according to their protocols
o Quarantine other employees to low-risk work locations
- Track investigations and share lessons learned
o Investigate root causes of possible contamination or increased illness at company facilities
o Share proven suppliers of cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment o Share re-planning procedures with other affected locations
Securing Remote Work With Oracle IDCS and CASBThe coronavirus outbreak has forced many office employees to remain at home. The real issue — at least for cybersecurity, if not productivity — is that in the office, companies thoroughly protect networks and devices. Meanwhile, our apartment or house is not set up in line with corporate security standards. and identity platform that is cloud-native and designed to be an integral part of the enterprise security fabric, providing modern identity for modern applications.
Oracle Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
Oracle Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) monitors the security of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure deployments through a combination of predefined, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure–specific security controls and policies, customer-configurable security controls, and policies, and advanced security analytics using machine learning for detecting anomalies. Oracle CASB security functionality includes monitoring security misconfiguration of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure resources, monitoring credentials and privileges, user behavior analysis (UBA) for anomalous user actions, and threat analytics for identifying risk events
Social Distance Monitoring Solution
Getting people back to work while preserving a safe distance
Ensuring your people can work safely while preserving a safe distance from other workers or restricted areas. As the Covid-19 crisis has proven, your most vulnerable assets are also your most important assets. While Covid-19 remains a threat, it is
